Hair color should have a purpose.
The goal is not simply to make hair lighter, darker, warmer, or cooler. Color should work together with the haircut, complexion, eye color, texture, and personality of the individual.
Sometimes the most effective color transformation is subtle.
A little warmth can bring life to the complexion. Dimension can make fine hair appear fuller. Carefully placed highlights or lowlights can emphasize movement in the haircut and create depth.
The haircut and the color should never feel like two separate services.
They should tell the same story.
Before recommending a color, I consider the entire image: the person's natural coloring, lifestyle, maintenance expectations, and the design of the haircut.
The objective is not simply beautiful color.
It is beautiful color on the right person.
When shape, texture, movement, and color work together, the result feels effortless — even when considerable technique was required to create it.
